Two more nights at home before I start my next big motorcycle trip, this one to St. John's, Newfoundland. I plan on looping up north from Colorado through the Black Hills and then the oil fields of North Dakato before turning east towards the Upper Penninsula and Sault Ste. Marie, MI. Then I'll head further north and east into Canada until I reach St. John's, the most easterly point in North America. After a celebration in St. John's I'll wander back through Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and then back to the good 'ol USA and the Great Plains before returning home. Expecting the trip to take 4 to 5 weeks and around 8,000 miles.
I'll be meeting and traveling with a few old friends and also riding by myself during the trip. I'll miss home, my wife Angela, our kids and grandkids plus the normality of being in the same comfortable bed every night but the road calls me and I need to satisfy my wanderlust on my faithful 1984 BMW once again.
Tonight I've almost finished all of my "To Do List" items and just settling down to the last items and details before leaving Sunday morning, June 4th.
Looks like a great route Scott! I'll be following along.
