I was driving on I-80 in Pennsylvania and I encountered a sudden thunderstorm. It was blue skies and then all of the sudden it turned into a dark cloud and it started to sprinkle and then it started to rain and the heavens opened up and it started to pour. I was blinded, lifting off my seat to see the road, over my windshield and over my glasses. I slowed, just to see the road, just to not make a fatal mistake. Water streaming down my face, unprepared. A semi was overtaking me and he realized the peril I was in and he changed his mind and put on his flashers and pulled in behind me, to protect me from the fast moving vehicles that might have hit me from the rear in the blinding rain. He followed me slowly, to the next exit, several miles, protecting me. When I exited I waved a rain-soaked glove for his patience, thoughtfulness and act of kindness which I can never repay.
