At 8am we’re bright and shiny ready to start our ride to Sedalia
A Katy photo op at Windsor where we savored Elevenses and a little rest after 20 miles of riding. So far, so good!
The Dixons of Longmont, Colorado conquer yet another peak on the Katy at 955’ above sea level!
Tom finds the ZONE as we head east towards Sedalia. Some people call him the “Hammer”!
Coasting to a stop as Tom and I catch up to Angela and Sharie after findings myself with a broken rear spoke a few miles back. Why am I smiling you may ask?!
5 miles further into Sedalia I find my good fortune with a spoke replacement and wheel trueing from Ebby at Pro Cycle in Sedalia. Quick, friendly, inexpensive and right off the Katy Trail in Sedalia.
After showers at the Hotel Bothwell we gather for hydration and sustenance at the Bothwell Ivory Grill. A short walk after dinner and we heading off to our deep sleep for the night. A great first day on the Katy!
